Luna and the Luna Dock

Small enough that hitting a window is a scuff.

Under 250 grams. Light enough to stay out of federal registration, and light enough that it cannot hurt anybody standing under it. The dock lives on the house, keeps the aircraft charged, and holds every recording it ever makes.

Target specification, not a measured unit. Nothing here has been built yet, and every number on this page is a commitment we expect to be held to rather than a result we are reporting.

The weight class

250 grams is a legal cliff, and we are staying on the near side of it.

A two kilogram aircraft with ten inch props is a genuine injury risk near people and a genuine repair bill near a window. At 250 grams a collision is an inconvenience. It also keeps you out of FAA registration for recreational use, which matters. But the reason we picked the class is simpler: a security device should not be the most dangerous thing on your property.

The supply chain

After December 2025 this is the licence to operate.

The FCC added all foreign produced drones and drone components to its Covered List, which blocks new equipment authorisations. Building NDAA compliant from the first unit is not a badge for the box. It is the difference between having a product to sell in this country and not having one.

The dock

The expensive half of the product never leaves the ground.

The dock is where the model runs, where the footage lives and where the encryption keys are generated. The aircraft is a camera on a timer. That split is what makes the privacy claim structural: there is no upload step to intercept, because there is no upload step.

What it costs

One price for the hardware. The subscription buys service, never access.

$500

Hardware, once

Luna, the Luna Dock, and local storage, playback and detection forever. Works with no subscription and no internet connection at all.

$25

Per month, optional

Professional monitoring and response, cellular backup for when the wifi is cut, encrypted off site backup, priority replacement.

Cancel the subscription and you keep every recording, every playback control and every detection feature. Holding your own footage hostage is the business model we exist to replace, so it is not one we get to use on the way there.

Early access

Luna ships to the first 500 homes.

Join the list and you take a position. Refer someone and you move up it. No deposit, no card, and we will not sell your address any more than we would sell your footage.

A short note every few months, plus the big moments. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.
